I have worked in mental health and as a psychologist in the NHS since 2003 and as a qualified clinical psychologist since 2008. My clinical psychology doctoral training included gaining a specialist child and family training place at the internationally renowned Tavistock Centre, in the Family Therapy & Autism teams.
In my NHS practice, I worked at the Tavistock Centre, Central & North West London Adult Mental Health Services and the award winning Islington Community CAMHS, before moving to a senior clinical psychology role at Hertfordshire CAMHS in 2010.
I work hard to create a relationally safe space where everyone can feel heard, understood, be themselves and able to share without judgement. My work is collaborative, values and strengths-based.
Alongside my professional experience, I am also the parent of primary and secondary school-aged children, giving an appreciation of the everyday realities and competing demands that parents and families navigate on a day to day basis.
